Two people have died after consuming contaminated plant-based milk that was recently recalled due to potential bacterial contamination.
The product, which was sold under the brand name “Green Leaf Almond Milk,” has been linked to a multi-state outbreak of foodborne illness.
Health officials are urging consumers to check their refrigerators for the recalled product and to seek medical attention if they have consumed it and are experiencing symptoms of illness.
