Trump’s latest effort to delay hush money sentencing hits a snag

Former President Donald Trump’s attempt to delay the sentencing of his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, for hush money payments to women hits a setback as a judge declines to put the case on hold. Cohen had pleaded guilty to charges related to the payments made during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, implicating Trump in the process. The judge’s decision suggests that the legal troubles surrounding Trump and his associates are far from over.
