Former President Trump is focusing on campaigning in North Carolina, a swing state he won twice, as he seeks to secure the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency. With North Carolina giving him his smallest margin of victory in 2016, Trump is making multiple stops in the state in the days leading up to the election, including rallies in Gastonia, Greensboro, Kinston, and Raleigh, as well as Salem, Virginia. Trump’s running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, has also been active in campaigning in North Carolina, with six visits since October 1.
