A federal judge has mandated the Trump Administration to provide daily updates on the return of Kilmar Abrego García, a Maryland man mistakenly deported to El Salvador, following a Supreme Court ruling requiring the Administration to facilitate his return. U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis expressed frustration over the government’s lack of information regarding Abrego García’s status and location during a recent hearing, emphasizing the urgency of compliance. This case highlights broader concerns over executive power and judicial independence, with the Administration’s refusal to fully comply raising alarms about constitutional norms.
