Trump’s Gulf tour is all about business
President Trump is embarking on a four-day tour of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, aiming to announce over $1 trillion in deals, a target economists deem unrealistic. His agenda, which aligns with personal business interests, includes encouraging Saudi investments in the U.S. while navigating ethical concerns surrounding a luxury plane donation from the Qatari royal family. Meanwhile, in other news, Hamas released a U.S. hostage in Gaza, and Ukrainian President Zelensky invited Trump to join peace talks with Russia.
