Troll who emailed Keir Starmer insult spared jail sentence

Mark Tew, 63, has received a suspended 17-month prison sentence for sending a series of abusive and threatening emails to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and several barristers between March and November 2021. Tew was found guilty of seven counts of sending electronic communications intended to cause distress. He also faces a restraining order prohibiting contact with the Prime Minister and others.
