Mace criticized prosecutors for ignoring the clear threat she reported, which included a graphic Instagram post depicting a gun aimed at her. Fadich, who had a history of violence and Antifa propaganda, was arrested in January 2026 after a grand jury indicted him. Mace has called for an investigation into why federal prosecutors failed to act on the threat against her.
