Trains return to Pukekohe after two-year station closure

The re-opening of the electrified rail line between Pukekohe and Papakura allows commuters to travel directly to Auckland CBD without transfers. The addition of three new stations along the route will accommodate projected population growth in South Auckland. The improved rail network aims to provide a more reliable, frequent, and connected transportation system for Aucklanders.
