Gravitas Ventures has unveiled the trailer for the documentary film My Robot Sophia, which explores the endeavors of inventor David Hanson in creating an empathetic A.I. robot named Sophia. The film details Hanson’s struggles with external pressures, including his mother’s declining health and investor skepticism, as he strives to develop a lifelike robot capable of addressing significant human challenges. Co-directed by Jon Kasbe and Crystal Moselle, My Robot Sophia will be released direct-to-VOD on May 6, 2025.
