Track conditions as snow leads to crashes – NBC Chicago

Chicago-area roads were expected to become slick and slippery with bursts of wind-whipped snow impacting the Thursday morning commute. The NBC 5 Storm Team forecasted waves of snow showers with two to four inches of accumulation possible, accompanied by wind chills in the teens and 20s. The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the entire area, warning of reduced visibility and likely travel impacts due to accumulating snowfall.
