Trace McSorley returns to Penn State as assistant QB coach

Former Penn State star quarterback Trace McSorley has returned to Happy Valley as the assistant quarterbacks coach for the 2025 season, as announced by Penn State on social media. McSorley, who started 40 games for the Nittany Lions and holds school records for passing yards and touchdowns, was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2019 and played for several NFL teams before joining Penn State’s coaching staff at the age of 29.
