One Dead, One Rescued Near Klondyke Tahu Saddle

One person has died and another has been rescued following a tramping trip on the West Coast. The police were alerted around 6:30 PM on Friday after a personal locator beacon was activated near the Klondyke Rahu Saddle in Victoria Forest Park. Search and Rescue teams located the survivor and the deceased, but poor weather conditions delayed the recovery of the body until Saturday when a helicopter could be deployed.
