Tom Welling of ‘Smallville’ arrested on suspicion of DUI

Actor Tom Welling, known for his role as young Clark Kent in “Smallville,” was arrested in Northern California for suspicion of driving under the influence. The 47-year-old was taken into custody at an Arby’s in Yreka, where his blood alcohol level was found to be above the legal limit. Welling was released from custody and has an arraignment scheduled for March 11, but has not publicly commented on the incident.
