Timberwolves Fans Call for ICE to Leave During Moment of Silence

Tension in Minneapolis escalated following the shooting death of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother killed by ICE officers during an operation. The Timberwolves held a moment of silence for her, which was met with anti-ICE chants from the crowd. Good’s death is controversial, with conflicting accounts regarding her actions before the shooting, leading to protests against ICE’s tactics.
