Tim Walz says he was joking when he mocked Tesla's falling stock: 'These people have no sense of humor'

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz recently made a joke mocking Tesla and Elon Musk for the company’s stock decline, calling Musk a “smarta–” and criticizing his role in the DOGE initiative to cut federal workforce. Walz clarified his comments at a town hall, stating he was joking and expressing disapproval of Musk’s actions towards employees at the Minneapolis VA. The governor also mentioned recent Tesla vandalism incidents and Musk’s failure to use his wealth to help others.
