GOP senator assists police in removing anti-war protester from hearing

Republican Senator Tim Sheehy of Montana assisted Capitol Police in removing protester Brian McGinnis from a Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing on military readiness. McGinnis, a Marine veteran and Green Party candidate, was reportedly injured during the altercation, claiming his arm was broken. He faces multiple charges, including assaulting police officers, while Sheehy stated he intervened to help deescalate the situation. Capitol Police emphasized that protests are not permitted inside Congressional buildings.
