TikTok informed users in the United States that the app would be “temporarily unavailable” on Sunday due to a new law taking effect. A message on the app explained that the law would force the service to be down temporarily, but they are working to restore it as soon as possible. Despite the warning, users could still access and use the app on Saturday.
