The City has achieved a 100% upgrade rate for actively used meters, but residents are advised to check their meter’s status using specific codes and contact the Energy Department if not updated to avoid electricity disruptions. Residents with unupdated meters displaying 1 or 1 2 should collect Keychange tokens from the nearest Energy Department office to complete the upgrade process and prevent meter inoperability.
