TID rollover: Check your electricity meter status
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The City has confirmed that prepaid electricity meters upgraded to Key Revision Number 2 (KRN 2) will continue to function normally after the TID rollover, with all meters needing to be updated by 20:24 on November 24 to avoid token issues. The City has achieved a 100% upgrade rate for actively used meters, but residents are advised to check their meter’s status using specific codes and contact the Energy Department if not updated to avoid electricity disruptions. Residents with unupdated meters displaying 1 or 1 2 should collect Keychange tokens from the nearest Energy Department office to complete the upgrade process and prevent meter inoperability.
