Three Palestine protesters end 73-day hunger strike

Three Palestine Action activists—Kamran Ahmed, Heba Muraisi, and Lewie Chiaramello—ended their two-month hunger strike after reportedly receiving assurances from the UK government regarding a £2 billion contract for Israeli-based defense firm Elbit Systems. Ahmed, who faced serious health risks, was hospitalized prior to the strike’s conclusion. Umer Khalid remains the sole hunger striker as other participants have also begun re-feeding. The group continues to advocate for Palestinian rights despite facing a ban under terrorism legislation.
