Three men have been sentenced to prison after stealing nearly £1 million worth of weight loss medications, including 79 boxes of Mounjaro, from a healthcare distribution center in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Mark Harding, 55, and Peter Costello, 44, broke into the facility on January 24, disabling security cameras and stealing several boxes of the drug. Less than two hours later, they returned with accomplice Robert Townsend, 59, to steal over 70 additional boxes. The total value of the stolen drugs amounted to £944,544.89. The men were apprehended on February 11, with over £60,000 in cash found hidden during their arrest. All three pleaded guilty to burglary, with Harding and Townsend receiving additional sentences for possessing criminal property. They have each been sentenced to five years and three months in prison.
