Three Indian nuclear entities no more on U.S. restrictions list

The United States has lifted restrictions on three Indian nuclear entities, including Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), to enhance civil nuclear partnership between Indian and American firms. The move is seen as a step towards implementing the India-U.S. civil nuclear pact, signed 16 years ago, to facilitate cooperation in critical minerals and clean energy supply chains. The Biden administration aims to strengthen the partnership by removing barriers to advanced energy cooperation and joint research and development activities between the two countries.
