Claire’s Accessories and The Original Factory Shop (TOFS) have entered administration, jeopardizing around 2,500 jobs in the UK. The owners, Modella Capital, cited unresolvable financial issues and challenging high street conditions as the reasons for the closures. Claire’s has incurred losses of approximately £25 million and has already shut down three stores, while TOFS operates 140 locations. The decline in consumer confidence and increased online competition have significantly impacted both brands’ viability.
