The incident, which took place near Nab Tower lighthouse, led to delays for approximately 5,000 P&O Cruise passengers departing from Southampton. Authorities, including the Maritime Coastguard Agency, have cordoned off areas where some containers washed ashore. The vessel’s owners are working with the MCA to recover the lost containers.
