The six-belted clearwing moth, resembling a wasp, was discovered at Wicken Fen nature reserve in Cambridgeshire, marking the 10,000th species recorded there. This unique moth, which can grow up to 2.5cm, uses mimicry for protection and is part of a biodiversity project that has documented over 10,107 species since the reserve opened in 1899.
