Directors of The Mummy 4 Exclude Tomb of the Dragon Emperor from Canon

The Mummy 4 is officially in development at Universal Pictures, with directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett hinting that The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor will not be considered canon, as Rachel Weisz returns to reprise her role as Evelyn. Brendan Fraser will also return, and while plot details remain scarce, the film aims to recapture the spirit of the original series. The release date is set for May 19, 2028.
