Netflix is adapting Charles Burns’ cult-classic graphic novel Black Hole into a series, with Jane Schoenbrun, known for I Saw the TV Glow, as director and developer. The story follows teenagers in 1970s Seattle who contract a sexually transmitted virus that causes grotesque mutations, exploring themes of alienation and identity amidst surreal horror.
