Our house was a constant DIY project for my parents and siblings, with renovations lasting 30 years and involving tasks like painting and building. Despite the size of the house, my parents always chose to involve us kids in the painting projects, with everyone assigned specific roles based on their abilities. The tradition of DIY painting continued into my adulthood, leading me to take on a house painting job for my aunty after graduating university, despite my lack of experience and underestimation of the task.
