Thai police issue arrest warrant for man suspected of gunning down Cambodian ex-lawmaker in Bangkok

Thai police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect in the shooting of Cambodian opposition politician Lim Kimya in Bangkok. The gunman, believed to be hired, shot Kimya near Khaosan Road, with security footage showing the assailant fleeing on a motorbike. The Cambodia National Rescue Party has condemned the assassination, which comes amid concerns of political repression under the ruling Cambodian People’s Party.
