Woman accused of burning boyfriend’s clothes, causing apartment fire

A Texas woman, Crystal D. Randall, was charged with reckless arson after allegedly igniting a fire at Southlake Villas apartments by burning her boyfriend’s clothing in a barbecue pit. The fire, which resulted from a domestic dispute, heavily damaged 13 apartment units and caused roof collapses, though all residents escaped unharmed. Firefighters returned to the scene due to rekindling embers, with one firefighter injured but in stable condition. Randall was also taken to a hospital for unknown reasons following her arrest.
