Texans May Lose Ed Ingram This Offseason Due to Contract

The Houston Texans may need to explore alternatives for strengthening their interior offensive line ahead of the 2026 season, as Ed Ingram is expected to seek a contract worth $15-18 million annually after a standout 2023 season. Acquired from the Vikings, Ingram excelled as a run blocker, earning a top rank among linemen. With the Texans over $5 million above the salary cap, they may struggle to accommodate his demands unless they opt to franchise tag him. Meanwhile, All-Pro defensive end Will Anderson Jr. remains a priority for future deals.
