Terrain completes Mid West drilling before July gold count

Terrain Minerals has successfully completed a 671-meter diamond drilling program at its Lightning gold project located in Western Australia’s Mid West region. The program consisted of four holes, which included 340 meters of reverse circulation (RC) pre-collars and 331 meters of diamond core tails. This drilling initiative was primarily aimed at gathering crucial rock density and structural data for an initial resource estimate scheduled for July. Notably, one of the drill holes returned an impressive intercept of 3.4 meters of core assaying 4.96 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, with a peak of 10.93 g/t over 1 meter, supporting the company’s interpretation of higher-grade mineralization at depth. With this data, Terrain has compiled a total of 16,000 meters of drilling information, which it believes is sufficient for initial resource definition. The company plans to integrate this data in the coming months, leading to the release of a resource statement covering both the Lightning and Monza targets.
