US data center operator TECfusions has signed a significant AI infrastructure deal with TensorWave, leasing 1GW of capacity for AI compute deployment starting in early 2025. The collaboration aims to provide reliable power for energy-intensive AI workloads and drive regional data center energy stability while reducing long-term energy costs. TensorWave CEO Darrick Horton highlighted the partnership’s importance in accelerating time to market for AMD Instinct Series GPUs, with a phased capacity deployment planned to meet anticipated demand by early 2025.
