Gabriela Dabrowski, Paris Olympic bronze medalist and three-time Grand Slam champion, revealed on Instagram that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in April but continued to compete while receiving treatment, winning the Rothesay Open Nottingham with partner Erin Routliffe and securing a bronze medal at the Paris Games. After initially being told not to worry about a lump in her breast, Dabrowski underwent surgery and treatment before returning to the court. She expressed gratitude for being a survivor and emphasized the importance of early detection in saving lives.
