An 18-year-old teenager, who stabbed and killed 19-year-old Abddullahi Ahmed Iyow in Brisbane, has been sentenced to more than eight years in detention after pleading guilty to murder. The incident occurred in an unprovoked attack where the victim was on the ground and unable to fight back. The teenager, who had a history of drug dealing and gang involvement, will serve 70% of his 12-year sentence and was also allegedly assaulted in court during his previous appearance.
