The 25th Winter Olympics will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo from February 6 to February 22, featuring around 3,000 athletes from 90 nations competing in 116 events across eight sports. Most indoor events will take place in Milan, while Cortina will host snow sports, with additional events in the Valtellina region. The opening ceremony includes performances by Mariah Carey and Andrea Bocelli, and ski mountaineering is introduced as a new sport. Team GB aims to surpass its best-ever medal count of five, with 53 athletes participating.
