SINGAPORE: Tan Qiu Yan, 33, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for killing her adoptive father, Mr. Tan Ah Bang, in a fit of rage over flat ownership disputes after her mother’s death. Suffering from a delusional disorder, she attacked him with a chopper, believing he would deny her rightful inheritance.
