Take aim: Gateway forms skeet shooting team

Gateway High School has formed a Skeet Club at the Trafford Sportsmen’s Club, with coach Mike Buvalla guiding five students through their training for their first meet on April 13. Distinct from trap shooting, skeet involves clay pigeons flying in different directions, challenging participants to adjust their aim and lead. Competing in the Pennsylvania High School Clay Target League, the team aims to develop discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and safety skills while vying for a spot in the state tournament in June.
