T. rex skeleton sold for $50.1 million at auction

A T. rex skeleton known as ‘Gus’ has set a new auction record, selling for $50.1 million in New York. The dinosaur remains, estimated to be around 70 million years old, are nearly 80% complete. The final bid was $43 million, but additional fees brought the total price to over $50 million.
