Synthetic Drug Ring Disrupted in Major European Operation

European police announced the dismantling of a major synthetic drug ring in a historic operation that led to the closure of 24 industrial labs and the seizure of around 1,000 tons of precursor chemicals. The year-long investigation involved collaboration among police from six countries and resulted in over 85 arrests, including two Polish ringleaders. Authorities highlighted that the operation aimed to disrupt the supply chain of synthetic drugs, which poses significant health and environmental risks.
