Kenyan marathon runner Brimin Misoi Kipkorir has been provisionally suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit after testing positive for prohibited substances, including EPO and Furosemide. Kipkorir, who set a course record at the Sydney Marathon in 2023, had a positive sample in an out-of-competition test in November 2024. This case adds to a growing list of doping incidents in marathon running, particularly in Kenya, with Kipkorir being the latest high-profile athlete to face suspension.
