The Sydney to Hobart race has seen its first significant withdrawal, with Wild Thing 100 retiring due to rigging damage on the first night. All crew members are safe as the yacht returns to Sydney, while overnight leaders Master Lock Comanche and reigning champion LawConnect continue to compete.
