Sunshine to precede several rounds of rain – NBC Chicago

Saturday will be the ideal day for outdoor activities with plenty of sunshine and seasonable temperatures in the high 50s to low 60s, as showers are expected to start on Sunday and continue into the first half of the work week, potentially leading to urban flooding and rising rivers. Temperatures will rise into the low 70s by Monday with multiple waves of rain, including thunderstorms on Tuesday, before showers come to an end Tuesday night. The Chicago area could see over an inch of rainfall, with dry conditions following until another chance of showers arrives the following Sunday.
