Intergenerational Summer Camp in Southern California
At an “Intergenerational Summer Camp” in Fullerton, California, older women teach kids aged 8-14 cooking and handicrafts, fostering connections between generations while addressing senior isolation. The camp, hosted by Olive Community Services and supported by teens from the Golden Connections Club, encourages skill-sharing and meaningful interactions, enhancing community bonds.
