President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration will take place on Inauguration Day, with live coverage beginning at 9 a.m. CT on NBC Chicago and NBC News. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. CT, with performances by Carrie Underwood, Village People, and Nelly. Trump is expected to sign executive orders, including declaring a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border, in front of a crowd at Capital One Arena later in the afternoon.
