Prosecutors have charged singer D4vd, whose real name is David Burke, with the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, alleging he dismembered her body using a chainsaw purchased shortly after her death. The girl’s remains were found in his Tesla in September 2025, with parts of her body stored in garbage bags. Prosecutors claim D4vd killed her in April 2025 after she threatened to expose their sexual relationship, which began when she was 13. Text messages indicate she became upset over his relationships with other women, prompting her to threaten to ruin his music career. Following her death, D4vd allegedly purchased tools to dispose of her body, including chainsaws and a body bag, and attempted to cover up the crime by discarding her belongings in Santa Barbara County.
