Father of suspected school shooter found guilty of murder

Colin Gray, 55, was found guilty by a Georgia jury of 27 counts, including second-degree murder and manslaughter, related to a mass shooting carried out by his teenage son, Colt Gray, at Apalachee High School in 2024. Prosecutors argued that Colin Gray gifted his son an AR-15-style rifle, despite warnings about the boy’s disturbing behavior, including an interest in mass shooters. Colt Gray, now 16, is awaiting a separate trial on multiple felony charges.
