Kristi Noem Meets Trump After Minneapolis Shooting

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem met with President Trump to discuss the fallout from federal operations in Minnesota, including the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti, which Noem initially described as a “domestic terrorist” incident. The two-hour meeting included key White House officials but notably excluded Stephen Miller, who made the controversial remark. Despite scrutiny, Noem is expected to retain her position, with a shift in focus on immigration enforcement under Tom Homan’s oversight. The administration faces criticism from congressional Republicans regarding the incident and the operations in Minnesota.
