Blowing snow may accompany these winds in areas from North Dakota to Iowa, where a winter weather advisory is in effect. Light snow is forecast for the Midwest and Northeast, with accumulations up to 6 inches in some regions. The storm will move out by Saturday afternoon, impacting travel along the I-95 corridor.
