Trump-Kennedy Center to sue jazz musician for canceling performance.

The Trump-Kennedy Center plans to file a $1 million lawsuit against jazz musician Chuck Redd for canceling a Christmas Eve performance after Trump’s name was added to the building. Richard Grenell, the center’s president, accused Redd of intolerance and political stunt, seeking damages for lost ticket sales. The center, now named the Trump-Kennedy Center, faced backlash for the renaming decision, with Redd’s cancellation sparking controversy and legal action. House Democratic Rep. Joyce Beatty also sued Trump over the renaming, adding to the ongoing dispute surrounding the national cultural center.
