US on track for record decrease in homicides by 2025.

Crime analyst Jeff Asher noted that major cities like Detroit and Chicago are on track to have the fewest murders in decades. Despite the overall decline in violent crime, some, like Tamara Tarpinian-Jachym, who lost her son to a shooting, feel that crime in major cities remains a significant issue.
